Bank of America Sued For Overtime

div itemprop="articleBody" class="article">Washington, DCAn overtime lawsuit has been filed against Bank of America, alleging the bank failed to pay overtime to employees. The lawsuit, filed June 4, 2010, alleges the bank violated overtime laws in California, Florida, Washington, Kansas and Texas.

Hourly workers, including current and former bank tellers, alleged Bank of America did not pay overtime when employees worked more than 40 hours in a week. According to CBS4 (06/07/10), employees were given compensatory time off or were told not to record more than 40 hours on their time sheets.

The lawsuit seeks back pay, attorneys fees and other damages.
