Houston, TX A petroleum plant explosion has killed one contractor and all but destroyed a large part of a natural gas liquid plant. The facility, Enterprise Products, located on Sun Oil Road, about 35 miles east of Houston, was reportedly also used for storage and production of octane-boosting gasoline additives.

Mentor, OH The small town of Fairport Harbor 30 miles from Cleveland has not been the same since a major gas explosion accident on January 24 rocked the picture-perfect community, destroying an apartment building and damaging at least 15 homes. Mercifully, no one was killed when the Dominion Gas line serving the town malfunctioned and forced 3,000 people to evacuate the town early on a cold winter morning.

Allentown, PA Two adults and a four-month old child were killed in a natural gas explosion late Wednesday night in eastern Pennsylvania. Two row homes were demolished by the explosion while another six were set on fire – destroying an entire row of houses.
