14-Year Old Pedestrian Dies in Missouri Car Accident

div itemprop="articleBody" class="article">Strafford, MOA teenager from Strafford who was involved in a car accident while walking along Evergreen Street in Strafford as died from her injuries.

Amanda L. Self, 14, was hit by a car late Tuesday night, July 27th, at around 10:35 pm, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP). Some media reports stated that Self was walking along the road with a younger brother when the accident occurred.

She was struck by an eastbound vehicle driven by 51-year old Elizabeth A. Goldsberry of Springfield. Ms. Goldsberry was not injured in the accident. Self was taken by ambulance to St. John's Hospital in Springfield.

Self was pronounced dead early Wednesday morning, July 28, by Dr. Janani Tuladhar, the Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP) reported online.
