Four Car Accident in Seneca

. By
Springfield, MOAs Seneca police were in the process of investigating a car accident on Missouri 43 south of Seneca, a 1990 Mazda Protege ran into a 1998 Oldsmobile Bravada, which had slowed down in order to avoid the first accident, according to the Missouri Highway Patrol.

Reportedly, the impact with the Oldsmobile resulted in the Mazda Protege skidding off the right side of the road and slamming into the Seneca patrol car. The Oldsmobile was forced across the center line of the highway and hit a 2004 Dodge Ram pickup.

Kevin Robinson from Neosho, the 25-year old driver of the Protege, sustained serious injuries resulting from the accident, while passengers Tyler Ori, 15, of Goodman, sustained moderate injuries and Stephanie Thornsborough, 27, of Lamar, sustained serious injuries. According to state troopers, no one in the car was wearing a seatbelt.

Josh Butler, the 17-year old driver of the Bravada, and his passenger Hanna Kuhn, just 15 years old, both residents of Seneca, walked away with minor injuries. State troopers reported that they were both wearing seatbelts.

Both the Protege and the Bravada are complete right-offs, while the patrol car and pickup were only slightly damaged.
