Supreme Court Won't Review GM's Appeal For Protection Against Ignition Switch Lawsuits

Washington, DC: In a potentially crushing blow to General Motors, the US Supreme Court has declined to consider an appeal from the automaker asking for a legal shield to protect GM from lawsuits related to faulty ignition switches on its vehicles.

Attorney: It's Mind Boggling Ammonium Nitrate Was Used in Airbags

Houston, TX: A new Takata-related airbag lawsuit has been filed against Honda and Takata, alleging a motorist was seriously injured when her airbag exploded during a car crash. Attorney Mo Aziz—of Abraham, Watkins, Nichols, Sorrels, Agosto & Aziz—is part of the team that filed a lawsuit on behalf of Serena Martinez and has been involved in other airbag claims as well. Aziz says that these lawsuits are the result of an inadequate recall.

Car Sellers in Class Action against VW Germany

Los Angeles, CA VW diesel owners were stunned to learn last week that their vehicles don’t meet federal emission standards. VW and independent dealerships are now stuck with millions of dollars of inventory they can’t legally sell. Like individual VW owners, dealers are now filing their own lawsuits against the company that sold them container loads of defective cars.
