Unlicensed Drivers Cause Two Recent California Car Accidents in One Week

San Jose, CA: On May 20, 2018, an Acura TL driven by a 16-year-old unlicensed driver jumped a curb on Highway 101, and skidded down an embankment before it was struck by another vehicle, killing a teen passenger. One week later, on Memorial Day, a stolen car driven by a 13-year-old was fleeing San Jose police when it collided with another vehicle in a head on crash, critically injuring one passenger and harming four others. California is notorious for its high rate of uninsured drivers, resulting in a large number of California car accidents. Accidents with an uninsured driver can result in the uncertainty of whether one’s injuries and property damage will be compensated, and if so, how?

California DUI Award to Plaintiffs Just Shy of $21 Million

Palmdale, CA In the days and hours leading up to February 6, 2011, the Cardona family of Palmdale could have no idea that their lives were about to change dramatically, and not for the better. That often happens when a DUI (driving under the influence) incident finds you. As it turns out, almost $21 million dollars has also found the Cardona family, but for reasons that have more to do with justice than good fortune.

Six People Dead in Suspected DUI Collision

Los Angeles, CA Six people, including four family members, are dead, killed at the scene of a multi-car collision on the westbound Pomona Freeway in Diamond Bar, CA in which driving under the influence is the suspected cause. According to media reports the two others killed included the sister of the woman driving a Chevy Camaro, who was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving and manslaughter.

His attorney demonstrated that Morris’ reputation was damaged because the article was viewed nationwide. “The defense argued that my reputation wasn’t damaged because nobody—except locally--knew about my case, but your article proved them wrong,” says Julian.

Teenage Girl Killed in Missouri Accident

Springfield, MO A teenage girl from Aurora died in a car accident on Wednesday afternoon. Seventeen-year old Shelby Estep was killed when her 2008 Chevrolet HHR collided with a tractor-trailer on US 71 south of Sheldon, MO.

State Trooper Injured in High Speed Chase

Springfield MO An Oklahoma man who was fleeing law enforcement officials from Kansas and Oklahoma, crashed his vehicle into a Missouri State Trooper's car, near the Missouri state line, and was subsequently arrested.

Fatal Springfield Car Crash Under Investigation

Springfield, MO A fatal car accident that happened March 19, killing a woman from Aurora, is under investigation by the Missouri Highway Patrol, who suspect that alcohol may have been a contributing factor in the crash.

Boy Killed in Car Crash, Mother Goes to Court
