Attorney: Why Would Patients Pay for Xarelto?

Dallas, TX It may be early in the Xarelto litigation process, but that means there is still time for plaintiffs to file a Xarelto lawsuit and join the multidistrict litigation. Dr. Shezad Malik, founder of the Dr. Shezad Malik Law Firm, says the only real benefit to Xarelto over an older drug is the lack of blood monitoring, but compared with the added risks and the increased price, that benefit may not be as substantial as drugmakers claim.

Xarelto Attorney: Xarelto Patients Should Be Monitored

Dallas, TX Lawsuits have been filed against the makers of Xarelto, alleging patients who took the anticoagulant medication suffered uncontrolled bleeding events. Dr. Shezad Malik, founder of the Dr. Shezad Malik Law Firm, says a hearing into consolidation of the lawsuits is coming up at the beginning of December.

Xarelto Litigation Story Still Unfolding

Louisville, KY Attorney David Koon sees more litigation ahead for anticoagulant Xarelto. Some is already in progress, but given the drug’s similarity to Praxada, another oral blood thinner with similar properties, Koon’s firm, Hughes & Coleman, is already preparing for failure to warn and product liability cases on behalf of people injured by Xarelto.
