Washington, DC While it may not necessarily be an occasion to break out the balloons and noisemakers, 2014 is nonetheless an anniversary of sorts for AlloDerm by LifeCell. It was in 1994 that the skin graft product, harvested from cadavers via a carefully controlled process, made its debut on the market.

Trenton, NJ As plaintiffs involved in AlloDerm complications lawsuits wait for the bellwether trials to go ahead, experts are looking back on what some studies found regarding AlloDerm skin graft adverse effects. AlloDerm has been around since the 1990s, and has a good track record, but that does not mean people have not suffered adverse events.

Trenton, NJ Plaintiffs who have encountered problems with regard to AlloDerm Skin Grafts Adverse events are looking to September 2015 as a beginning. That’s when a handful of bellwether trials are potentially set to get underway in state court in New Jersey, over allegations that the AlloDerm products have not only failed to live up to expectations, but have also introduced infection and other grievous complications for numerous patients, or so it is alleged.

Branchburg, NJ If you haven’t heard a lot about AlloDerm Skin Grafts and AlloDerm Skin Graft adverse events, it’s probably due to the complexity of the product and how it is used. However, hundreds of plaintiffs have experienced problems with a product that was originally approved and marketed in 1994 for use in burn victims and for periodontal and reconstructive surgeries, but has found a plethora of uses since then, most notably for hernia repair.

AlloDerm Skin Grafts Causing Pain, Infection and other Adverse Health Events

Washington, DC Alloderm, a type of skin graft used mainly for reconstructive breast surgery and hernia repairs, is reportedly causing adverse health events in some people. The types of complications can include infection, abscesses, pain and soreness, and inflammation and swelling. They can be painful and in some cases life threatening, and may require further surgery, at additional expense and trauma to the patient.
