Rugs Pose Fire Hazard

About 3000 Zebra rugs are being recalled because they do not meet the federal flammability standard for small rugs and do not have the required flammability warning label.

The recalled rug measures 30'' x 54'' and has a black-and-white zebra skin design. The rug was sold under J.C. Penney item number MF728-1050, which is located on the product's packaging.

The rugs were sold through the J.C. Penney Web site and catalog from December 2007 through July 2008 for between $50 and $70.
