A lawsuit alleges the university did not provide adequate sign-language interpreters and other services to assist deaf students in their education. By excluding and denying equal access to educational opportunities and effective communication with professors to these students, the suit claims the school violated the Americans with Disabilities Act. The suit is seeking class action status.
