Toledo, OH Storm Sewer Flooding

A class action lawsuit has been filed against the city on behalf of more than 80 flood victims living on Crawford Avenue. The suit names the city of Toledo, Arcadis G & M, CSX Transportation Inc., BP Pipelines North America Inc., and Norfolk Southern Corporation as defendants. The complaint alleges that city and county engineers mis-designed storm sewers and accuses the companies of failing to redesign culverts causing drainage problems. The case was filed in Lucas County Common Pleas Court.
