Gingerbread Houses and Other Baked Goods Recalled

Washington, DC: Rolf's Patisserie in Illinois has recalled pastries and baked goods, including gingerbread houses sold under the Whole Foods Market label, after the FDA associated the products with food poisoning.

CNN reports that Rolf's is recalling the pastries and baked products after 100 people have been sickened in Illinois and Wisconsin. Any Rolf's product made after November 1 may contain Staphylococcus Aureus bacteria. Symptoms of food poisoning from the bacteria include diarrhea, nausea, vomiting and stomach cramps. Children and the elderly may need to be treated for dehydration.
