Atlanta, GA: A securities class action lawsuit has been filed in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York on behalf of purchasers of JinkoSolar Holdings Co. Ltd. ("JinkoSolar" or the "Company") American Depository Shares ("ADSs") who purchased between May 13, 2010 and September 21, 2011, inclusive (the "Class Period").

The lawsuit alleges, among other things, that JinkoSolar falsely represented to investors that it was fully compliant with all environmental regulations of the People's Republic of China when it was not. According to the complaint, JinkoSolar admitted it was responsible for contaminating a river adjacent to its primary manufacturing facility in violation of applicable laws.

The lawsuit further alleges the contamination killed large numbers of fish and resulted in protests in China. JinkoSolar's ADSs lost more than 42 percent of their value in the week following the Company's admission.
