J2 Global Receives 487 Service Complaints

Hollywood CA: According to the Better Business Bureau (BBB) a California-based company that provides outsourcing for message and communications services - J2 Global - has received 487 complaints about its services.

Most of the complaints, from large organizations and small businesses alike, allege billing disputes or difficulty canceling accounts, such as double billing on credit cards which are not reimbursed.

Additionally, according to the BBB "many customers complain of excessive hold times, anywhere between 10 minutes and up to several hours, when attempting to speak to a customer service representative.

Other complainants allege the fax service does not work or fax numbers are reassigned without notice or justification. A few complaints allege the company does not disclose the fact that the number of faxes you can send is limited or that there is a per page charge for every outgoing fax."

Additional complaints listed on an Internet customer rating site, claim customer accounts were suspended without notice.

The company does business under various names including j2 Global, Inc; j2 Global; J2Global Communications; JFAX Communications; JFAX.Com; and

J2 Global Inc currently holds a C+ rating by the BBB, which, the BBB states, is due to the 487 complaints filed against the business and failure to respond to 2 complaints filed against the business.

I cancelled my service in 2015 and in November of 2017 suddenly they are billing me again and refused to offer me a credit. I'm now going through my credit card company to dispute the charge

J2 Global continues to charge my account when I have asked them several times to cancel my Efax account. Every time I call, they claim that their "system" is down.

These scum bags have been calling my house several times a day for the past 6 months despite the fact my number is on the national do not call registry . These guys desperately need to be sued.
