A lawsuit has been filed and is seeking class action status against the computer technology company alleging Halo 3 is a faulty product that frequently crashes when played on the Xbox 360. The lawsuit was filed in US District Court in Southern California and claims the video game Halo 3 consistently causes the Xbox 360 to crash, freeze, or lock up while the game is being played.

The suit claims that despite repeated consumer complaints, Microsoft and Bungie, the game's developer, failed to recall Halo 3 or otherwise remedy its failure to function on the Xbox 360. As a result, the suit charges that Microsoft and Bungie are in violation of consumer protection laws.
