Halcyon Manufacturing Recalls Diving Equipment

Halcyon Manufacturing has recalled Halcyon Diving Equipment due to a drowning hazard. The over pressure valves in the diving equipment can fail, which can cause the buoyancy compensator devices and the diver lift inflatable device to leak. This could pose a drowning hazard to divers.

Included in the recall are the Halcyon Explorer, Eclipse, CCR35, Evolve and Pioneer Buoyancy Compensator Devices and the Halcyon Surface Marker Buoys, Lift Bags, Diver Alert Marker, Surf Shuttle and Diver Lift Raft Inflatable Devices. "Halcyon" is printed on the diving equipment. The recalled equipment was sold at diving equipment retailers and distributors from January, 2006, through December, 2008. Approximately 20,300 units are affected by the recall.
