Flint, MI, Flint Police Department, and Genesee County Sheriff's Office Clubgoers Searches Class Action

A class action lawsuit has been filed in federal court against the city, the department, and the office for allegedly violating the civil rights while searching patron at a Flint nightclub in 2005. The lawsuit claims clubgoers' constitutional rights were violated when police entered Club What's Next on March 20, 2005, to investigate possible drug activity. Many clubgoers were strip-searched and underwent cavity searches.
