FedEx Faces Unsolicited Phone Calls Class Action Lawsuit

Santa Clara, CA: FedEx is facing a class action lawsuit alleging it has violated the Telephone Consumer protection Act (TCPA) by making unauthorized calls to consumers' telephones.

Specifically, the lawsuit, filed by Najeh Abdallah, individually and for all others similarly situated, alleges unauthorized automated delivery notification calls were made by FedEx to consumers throughout the US, causing the recipients aggravation and resulting in invasion of privacy and incurred costs for receiving the calls.

Abdallah and others in the class are represented by attorneys Eugene Y. Turin, Myles McGuire and Paul T. Geske of McGuire Law in Chicago.

The case is US District Court for the Northern District of Illinois Eastern Division Case number 1:16-cv-03967.
