Chrysler Issues Recall for 2009 2010 Vehicles due to Possible Brake Failure


Washington, DC: Chrysler is recalling 2010 Chrysler Sebring and Dodge Avenger sedans, Dodge Nitro and Jeep Liberty, Jeep Commander and Grand Cherokee SUVs and 2009 and 2010 model year Ram trucks.

About 24,000 vehicles are included in the recall, which was initiated to fix a defective part that could cause sudden, unexpected brake failure. For full details of the model/years involved see the link below.

According to media reports, Chrysler is not aware of any crashes resulting from this problem, which was initially discovered by factory workers at Chrysler in Mexico and Toledo.
