LAWSUITS NEWS & LEGAL INFORMATION
Dell, CA
ADVERTISEMENT
Krause & Kalfayan, a San Diego-based law firm, filed a lawsuit against Dell Computer on July 15, 2004. The suit alleges that Dell advertised its Inspiron 8600 and 9100 notebook computers with a 15.4 inch WSXGA+ UltraSharp LCD panel as having a display rate of 35 miliseconds and being 80% faster than its standard notebooks. The faster the display rate, the clearer the images displayed on the screen. The suit alleges that LCD panels that were manufactured for Dell by Hitachi actually have a display rate of 50 miliseconds and thus customers did not receive a notebook as advertised in violation of consumer protection laws.
If you are a California resident who purchased an Inspiron 8600 or 9100 notebook computer with a 15.4 inch WSXGA+ UltraSharp LCD panel and would like to be considered for participation in this suit as a plaintiff, please complete the following form.
