Crowley County Correctional Facility

A federal class action has been filed against the privately run prison alleging female employees were routinely groped, pawed and physically assaulted by male managers and male co-workers from December 2000 to January 2003. The US Equal Employment Opportunity Commission filed the lawsuit on behalf of female guards and female case managers. The lawsuit claims female employees were retaliated against after they resisted harassment, were subjected to undesirable and even dangerous shift assignments, and opportunities for advancement were reduced.
