BMW Recalls MINI John Cooper Works and Clubman JCW Clubman

Front Brake Discs the Wrong Size

A recall notice filed with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration by BMW, cites the MINI/JCW/2009, and the MINI/JCW CLUBMAN/2009 as being equipped with 16 inch diameter front brake discs, rather than 17 inch discs. This, BMW states, could lead to reduced braking performance under conditions of intense brake usage.

Owners of the vehicles in question are expected to receive recall notices via the mail this month.

Been trying to survive this Transmission and hoping this CVT Issue will be Recalled. I was told to fix my 2006 mini cooper, It will take $10,000.
