Health Canada Warns of Plastic Mesh Found in Cheese

Black Diamond brand fat-free Mozzarella processed cheese slices are the subject of a national health warning and recall issued by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency.

The cheese slices, produced by Parmalat Canada, could contain small pieces of plastic mesh, posing a choking hazard to consumers.

The products involved in the recall are the 24-slice packages of cheese, with the "best before" date of "09 AU 09 REG1411" and UPC 068200 88837 8.
