Los Angeles, CA: (Mar-11-07) Los Angeles County has faced several lawsuits for accidents caused by lifeguards over the last five years. 21-year-old Jesse Pace, a summer intern at UCLA Medical Center in 2005, filed suit against the county following an accident when a lifeguard ran him over at Santa Monica Beach. Jimi Heselden, the owner of the Segway Company, suffered a fatal accident on Sunday, when the Segway he was riding fell over a cliff and into the Wharfe river according to media reports, his body was discovered by a passerby around 11:40 am in the Bostan Spa area of North England. READ MORE
