Zeltiq Securities Fraud Class Action

San Francisco, CA: A securities class action lawsuit has been commenced against ZELTIQ Aesthetics, Inc. ("ZELTIQ") and certain of its officers and directors in Superior Court of the State of California for the County of Alameda. The ZELTIQ Aesthetics securities fraud lawsuit alleges that ZELTIQ violated Federal securities laws by issuing false and misleading information or omissions in the Company' Registration Statement and Prospectus, issued in connection with the Offering that was completed on October 24, 2011.

Based in Pleasanton, California, ZELTIQ is a medical technology company that engages in developing and commercializing non-invasive products for the selective reduction of fat. ZELTIQ went public in October 2011, which raised $89.3 million, at $13.00 per share.

The complaint alleges that ZELTIQ' Registration Statement failed to disclose, among other things, that the Company was going to initiate a transition to a direct sales force in certain key international markets in the 2011 fiscal fourth quarter, which would negatively impact the Company' near term financial performance. The suit further alleges that the Company' business during the fiscal fourth quarter was subject to seasonal trends that negatively impacted its financial performance.

Once ZELTIQ issued a press release on March 6, 2012 announcing fourth quarter 2011 sales and profits well below analyst estimates, shares of ZELTIQ declined $3.75 per share, or 33.75%, to close at $7.36 per share, on unusually heavy trading volume. The closing price represented a cumulative loss of $5.64, or 43.38%, of the value of Company' shares at the IPO price of $13.00 per share.

I have had 5 treatments about 6/7 years ago. I regret
so so much. My stomach area is worse than before it
stretches the skin and makes it worse. Also I had my arms done
resulting in in hanging skin and flapping. It has affecting my
health as well. I went to the doctor several times and landed in the
Emergency thinking I had kidney failure. I am not the same!!!
I regret having this treatment it has destroyed my life and I have such depression.

Hi my name is Barbara Alaimo I live in Staten Island New York I had cool sculpting done in 2015 before my wedding.
I had 8 treatments in my abdomen two on each quadrant spending close to 7,000 for ABSOLUTELY NOTHING I was told that I would see atleast a 50% reduction. It actually caused the areas that were treated to be hard and bulky, my before snd after pictures are absolutely wild. Even after having two babies, losing 30 lbs working out and eating right. You can stil see how HORRIBLE MY BODY LOOKS. the bulging in hard areas on my stomach you can see it through every single shirt every single bathing suit and it’s almost impossible to hide cool sculpting made me HATE my body. and now I need to have liposuction to correct it. So another 10 thousand dollars when I should have just had liposuction to begin with. The dr who is doing my liposuction in a month from now said he has NEVER SEEN anything like that and the company should be ashamed of them selves for this
I was POORLY instructed by the doctors at the office that I had chose AND THE ZELTIQ REP that was a “ fantastic candidate”
Meanwhile after years later of hard research your BMI has to be very low for you to see slight success.
I lost 20 lbs before I got the cool sculpting done. It made me very Uncomfortable for weeks after having the procedure done the tingling the discomfort the pain the bruising.
This is the most awful thing I have ever done in my life.
Anybody and everybody who tells me that they’re interested in cool sculpting I tell them my horror story. It immediately shows them away

I have before and after pictures and you can see that the results of the cool sculpting.

I had coolsculpting done on 03/05/2020. I had not read any of these reviews, so I am terrified now. I am a 59 year old black female who had afew stomach pouches that wouldn't go away. My skin is in excellent condition, minimal sagging. I look to be 45 years old. I wear a size 8 but put on afew pounds to reach 148lbs from a regular 145lbs The procedure was not painful and so far still no pain. I am swollen, after the procedure I put on Spanx that I continue to wear and sleep in. Had my lower stomach done and the upper area done, 4 areas. Scheduled for two under the breast areas, but after reading these reviews, I have decided that I won't get those areas done. I was given a massage after each treatment and I have continued to massage those areas. If I had read these before, I would not have spent 4500.00. My heart goes out to each and everyone of you who has experienced such bad outcomes. I am so sorry to your pain and suffering. I guess its a lesson to each of us to be happy with what we got. If I am able to I will continue to post my experience

I had cool sculpting done in 2008. My stomach now feels hard and it got larger. I knew something was not right. I feel like I have a pillow stock in my stomach. I need to know if there’s something I can do.

I had cool sculpting done on my abdomen in 2016. It was $4,000 or more, one day of treatment and my abdomen never reduced and actually enlarged and was mishap ended by the procedure. It was Dr. Faulk in Marion Ohio and if I could have my money back for the worthless procedure, I would be grateful but that will never happen.

I had one round of coolsculpting June 2017. By Sept my abdomen was larger and hard. I was diagnosed with PAH. This condition was never disclosed to me as a risk prior to my procedure in any way, shape or form. After consulting with 5 board certified plastic surgeons, I learned that a full abdominalplasty was the only remedy for my condition which I was told was severe. My recovery from the major surgery has been slow because when you have PAH it’s not like a normal abdominalplasty like just some simple mommy make over - tummy tuck type of thing. It’s brutal! When Cool sculpting goes wrong it affects more than just your fat cells- everything can get damaged.

I had procedure done in July of 2018 had 6 areas done in a single session. I have since lost 16 pounds and work out a minimum of 3 x a week., which amounts to 12% of my body weight. Oasis Spa claims I had great results, I see none. Since I am not satisfied they are recommending a body Dr. i.e. Liposuction and they will apply my $4,700 toward the cost (really!) Long story short. There is a consumer lawsuit has been filed by Vita Law Offices in Boston, Ma you can find them on Facebook and send them a PM or call them to file your claim. This site is for securities fraud and most likely not right place to complain.

I would like to be involved in a class action suit against coolsculpting company. I spent 7,000.00 in 2 treatment sessions in 2017. I was guaranteed a 50% reduction (25%/treatment) from Mirror Mirror beauty boutique out of Houston, Texas. I ended up worse, disfigure. It was misleading and the provider I visited has ignored me completely, even though we knew at the time of the three-month after visit, that there had not been any results. I have written to them, without a response, ignoring me completely. I feel deceived.

I had Coolscupting done last year with disastrous results. My inner thighs were so swollen I could barely walk and had to have several rounds of steroids. It is now a year later and my inner thighs are considerably larger than before I had the procedure. I am desperate to get them fixed but terrified of another botched procedure and not ready to spend thousands of dollars out of pocket to fix the Coolscupting botch job

I had cool sculpting in March 2016 and at their urging because of swelling again in July 2016. I had 2 corrective liposuction procedures in Nov 2016 and Dec 2017. I am still disfigured and require more surgical procedures. This company needs to pay for damaging me. No one locally will take my case. I need representation

I live in upstate NY and began my coolsculpting “treatment plan” at the end of August 2018. I found out the day OF as they were hooking me up to the machine that despite advertising the capability of performing multiple areas simultaneously and the time per area having significantly reduced, that my facility was not one capable of doing so. SO after 3 or 4 hours I had 2 large and 1 mini performed before running out of daylight. Afterwards while I’m in agony and exhausted she made me pay FULL PRICE FOR 5 CYCLES & an appointment to come back. My appt got rescheduled twice and in the meantime I fell at work injuring my hip which is the area I had yet to have done and cannot have done. Now remember I only had 2 large & 1 mini completed = thats 3 total AND NO MENTION WHATSOEVER THAT THE OTHER 2 I PAID FOR IN FULL WOULD BE NON REFUNDABLE even if they are never performed!. NO, THE ONLY MENTION OF THAT WAS ONE SENTENCE ON A PAPER I WAS GIVEN WEEKS PRIOR to signing and told to bring back in with me as just a mere formality and not to worry about anything on it. Not to mention the placement of this one sentence completely misleads the reader because it comes right after the statement that “ONCE PEFORMED completed cycles are not refundable” it NEVER is made clear that a “completed cycle” includes not completed cycles and basically tricks you into signing away your natural rights to your money. They refuse to refund me the other $1000 +for cycles never performed that I already paid on my credit card.

I had cool sculpting first in March 2016, when I began swelling, I was told I just needed another treatment in July 2016. By August 2016 I was grotesquely and horribly swollen, bumpy and misshapen. Devastated, I had corrective surgery in Nov 2016 and again in Dec 2017. Now in Dec 2018 I still have bands of excessive scar tissue and unevenness in my entire abdomen. The skin has lost all of its elasticity. My BMI was only 24 when I thought I cool sculpting would enhance my appearance. It has destroyed not only my body, but myself image and esteem.

I had my cool sculpting in April 2018 and was assured that they could reduce the fat in my inner thigh. Here it is 7 months later, the fat has doubled in size and has spread to other areas; ie. back of leg under butt line and down to just above my knees. I was scared to go back for my post check up after starting to see the fat double in size. I decided to go back so that they could see that the fat had doubled in size and is now in a wider area. They said we have never seen anything like this before and would have to get back to me. The visit was today October 30, 2018 @ 10am, it is now 2:42pm no call back. I will keep everyone posted. I am disfigured and horrified. If I don't get any satisfaction, I will pursue other actions.

Hello I spent $2700 I did the coolscolpting in May 2018, it didn't work, worst ....my abdomen started to grow, I went back in August and they did other two cycles, after two months they said that probably I have the PHL, I went today and they toke the pictures. They told me that they will talk with Zeltiq and if they will confirm the PHL they will send me for Liposuction. I asked for a reimbursement too, they refuse it. What I have to do?

Had coolsculpt in 2016
My abdomen continues to grow
I’ve lost 10lbs & it is still bigger than when I began
I also have lumps & what looks like disgusting cellulite which I did not have before
The clinic who performed has clashed & re opened w different name
They still had my photos & agreed to take new pictures & agreed my abdomen is bigger
They claim I now need surgery
Zeltiq needs to be held responsible for this
They claim u will lose up to 25% but also say maybe no results (in small print)
But nowhere do they say may make bigger & lumpy
Please file lawsuit.

I would like to be involved in a class action law suit against the cool sculpting company out of Pleasanton, Ca. I spent $5000, had seven treatments with zero result in 2017. When speaking with the company they claim that everyone’s body is different and they cannot guarantee results. I was guaranteed a 50% + result from Skinfinite Solutions out of Modesto, the office I visited for the procedure. The service/product is misleading. They refuse to give me a refund.

I had Coolsculpting done on May 29. On June 8, I had blood work done, which showed my white blood cell count was high, along with my neutrophils and an abnormal protein band one (which can signify the precursor of multiple meyloma is present.) After the second week after procedure, I began feeling sick. I eventually had to quit eating meat, dairy and anything else with a high fat content, otherwise it became difficult to breathe and neuropathy from a pinched nerve in back, made pain in toes much worse. I had blood work done in April 40 days before Coolsculpting and it all came back fine, so yes I do believe this affected my blood work. I think the extra lipids running through my blood, caused an extreme immune response in my body. I have only been able to lower numbers in the past week, by eating a vegan diet and taking massive amounts of tumeric, to try and stop the immune process this started, which they say can last up to four months. Anybody else have strange blood work come back after Coolsculpting?

DONT DO IT! After the fact I have found out some people have an adverse reaction to this procedure. I had it done on my stomach and handles. In two years My belly as doubled in size as well as my handles. An attorney contacts me regarding plastic surgery, I refused due to health reasons. They gave me a settlement of $7000. So now I have a huge lumpy stomach huge handles and now have trouble tying my shoelaces. I would hope there would be a class action suit regarding this. People are being duped. It doesn't work

After reading the comments, I had a very similar experience to many of the people commenting. I had the abdominal pain and had the office unwilling to refund my money. The office staff stated that per my photos I had some results, but no one else that viewed the saw any difference. It was disappointing the staff would not stand behind their product. I do not want others to have the same thing happen to them.

After waiting 8 mos. hoping to see change with no changes I requested my money back. Dolce Vida Medical spa in Connecticut said I had significant improvement and would get even better results with another treatment!! More $$ for no change. I would have to be stupid to throw away my money again! This procedure is a scam. I would join a class action lawsuit. This is deceptive business practice.

I am trying to start a class action with my lawyer.

I am healing from a hysterectomy in my procedure it was found that my intestines/bowel were cemented onto my uterus. This was a very hard and delicate surgery and I might have life long issues and it might be from Cool Sculpting which I only had last year and have had issues every since I had it done. I know for a fact that I did not have this issue 3 years ago becuase I had some fibroids removed and I was fine. THIS IS MAJOR - LIFE THREATENING LIFE LONG ISSUES POTENTIAL.

I had the procedure in August of 2016. By December, I noticed that the areas that I had the procedure performed on were growing at an alarming rate. After consultation with the doctor who performed the procedure, he confirmed that I had PEH. We proceeded with liposuction in April of 2017. This worked for a short time. In October of 2017, the PEH came back. I'm distraught that this will be a reoccurring issue. I work out daily and watch what I eat. Zeltiq has offered to pay for the first liposuction, but has refused to address the bigger issue, if this is in fact going to be reoccurring. I plan on contacting an attorney and would love to hear from any of you.

I had coolsculpting last year on my upper, mid and lower abdomen and flanks. I did two sessions and spent $6,500. I’m devastated by the results and what it did to my body. My stomach is lumpier and flabbier – way worse than before I had the procedure. I watch what I eat and work-out with a personal trainer three times a week. I’m incredibly self-conscious of my stomach and now more than ever. To make matters worse, I had a horrific reaction to the procedure – the excruciating stabbing pain, bloating, etc. for three weeks. NO amounts of meds relieved the pain. I couldn’t sleep, missed 10 days of work and couldn’t work-out for a month. I have a very high threshold for pain – ie -didn’t know I was in labor with either of my kids. The doctors pushing this misleading treatment should be ashamed. I’m consulting a lawyer. If there is a class-action, I want to be included!

Had this procedure done on my lower abdomen and ended up with PHA (paradoxical adipose hyperplasia). In addition to fat in my lower abdomen, I also have increased fat in my upper stomach, back, and love handles, and lower back. I was 117 pounds when the procedure was completed and am now 135 pounds (heavier than I've been in my entire life). Is there anyone that can assist us with a Class Action Lawsuit?

I had coolsculpting just this year because i would like to have quick fix on fat tummy and watching some youtube about it made me decide to have it done on my upper and lower abdomen and had six cycles because the clinic says that the more cycles you get the bigger discount. After few months of treatment instead of expectations of flatter tummy it turns out to be like bulges of hard firm fat. I really regret having coolsculpting on my body. I hope those doctors promoting coolsculpting will have it try on themselves first so they know how it is miserable and shit coolsculpting is.

More self conscience as my belly is bigger'! I wanted to avoid a more invasive procedure so I opted for this! One of the worst mistake of my life! This company is not right and must be stopped what they are doing is unethical.... coolsculpting is a complete scam I am now convinced! They market it as if it is an alternative to lipo! It is not! I want to prevent people who have went thru what I had to go through! I don't want other to waste money and end up with a larger firmer area of fat that is more visible! I must admit vanity got the best of me!

Now a year later I am way bigger in the areas that were "treated". I was told that the fat wouldn't come back where the procedure had been done... Total lie! If there is a law suit, I sooo want in! I have gained 15lbs in one year and 5 to 6 inches to my abdomen where I had the procedure done. I originally wanted this done due to a class reunion I was going to in Texas, I totally had my trip paid for but never attended!!!!

Coolsculpting offers ZERO results and actually damages and enlarges fat content in treated areas. Physicians, surgeons and clinics offering coolsculpting are UNETHICAL, because traditional medicine does not support the scientific or medical claims of coolsculpting. I have seen multiple surgeons as an opinion of coolsculpting, and the conclusion is unananimous: the procedure cannot possibly work, this is a predatory money game for those seeking a little help and a hope for a better physique. A placebo effect is the only way to explain the supposed 20% reduction in fat.

I had 14 treatments at a cost of 7,800 dollars with no results. They tell you it will reduce up to 25% of your fat
This is only a select few that achieve that!
I was also told they would pay for surgery if it did not work which they did not stand behind! Absolutely no ROI Save your money!

I had CoolSculpting done in August/September 2016 on my outer thighs and stomach. After the procedure, I began to experience extreme itching to the point I'm now bruised on my hip. Both treated areas are more extended now than before the procedure. CoolSculpting is deceptive and a total RIP-OFF. I've read all the comments and WE can't be imaging what our bodies have gone through. The comment factor that we each share is that CoolSculpting has caused more damage to our bodies and we deserve to have a voices heard and compensation!!!

My stomach became bigger than original size they would not show me the pictures when I went in to complain about the pain and how I upset I was that my stomach had grown and had lumps! They said they had no film and the camera wouldn't work so they couldn't show me any pictures. They offered another free session on all parts I said NO! Never again. My stomach is now lumpy and I eat clean and healthy and exercise so this shouldn't be the case. Very expensive and not worth it!

I am surprised there is not a class action against the zeltiq for diseptive practices for cool scultping. So many negative reviews. I had cool scultping done over a year ago after being told I was the perfect candidate. The example pics they show you to hook you in are so unrealistic which I realize now. I had absolute zero results after 2 treatments . They take your before and after pics at weird angles to try to show you that cool scultping has made a difference. When you contact cool sculpting they give the same generic reply to EVERYONE. Contact your provider. All my provider will do is tell me I need additional treatments and spend extra $

Cool Sculpt is a gimmick. I spent $6,000 and became larger immediately after. When I went back for results after 2 painful days of hours of treatment, the tech could not show any positive results. She actually said, "I told you that you would need another set of treatments to see results", as she sounded irritated. In fact, the consultant said some people have another set of treatment to lose more. I lost nothing. Clothes were tighter.
I want a to sue this company. I had this done almost a year ago and I am still upset over me spending my money on this fake procedure.

In June and July of 2016, I underwent multiple coolsculpting treatments to my upper and lower abdomen/flank and, to date, have no noticeable results, despite the tech assuring me that I would have a great outcome. (Could go into detail regarding the tech's lack of professionalism, not enough space for that, but learned later that her employment with the facility had ended.) The last recheck/photo op revealed that my abdomen was just as large/droopy as before, although the 'doctor' repeatedly tried to get me to agree with her that there was, indeed, a change, to no avail. To add insult to injury, she tried to talk me into further treatments, even offering such at "my cost". Needless to say, I did not attempt to recoup the $7,200 I foolishly forked over for this fraudulent scheme, but I am hopeful that with all the complaints against Zeltiq, recompense may be had. To that end, I would like to engage in any proceedings against the CoolSculpting founder(s)/coffers, etc., so please feel free to contact me in that regard.

DON'T DO IT!!!! I had 14 treatments done. 8 on belly; 4 on flanks; 2 on upper thigh area. 1.5 years later they are still two inches bigger. I spent $8,000.00 and grew two inches every area I had done. My stomach is now distended, I have a B shape now. I can't get rid of it! Yes! I have PAH! Can't find a doctor who knows how to prescribe it. Please post ANY advise. I am in Northern New Jersey. Please write down your info if we might be able to get together and do something about it! I have had little luck so far.

I did coolsculting in September in Florida, I am 42 years old, and my weight is 115 pounds, they said that I was perfect for that, so I decided to do the treatment, they do 4 in my belly. When I went for a follow up, they told me that everything were looking good, that I gained 3 pounds and there's nothing they can do to fix that. But my belly still growing, I looks like a pregnant person. Instead of feel better I have to cover my fat belly because everyone has noticed. I don't know what to do, it's a lot of money and my self esteem have been decreased. Please help! Is not fair to spent all this money for nothing!

I had cool sculpting treatment performed on me in July 2016. I was also told many of the same things everyone is mentioning. September 1st, I woke up swollen and irritable in the areas of my abdomen where I received 8 cycles at once in one day. There was no change once I went for my check up on Oct.4th. I complain several times to Idea Image about the strange swollen area. I have manage to maintain sanity, but my self conscious and insecurities of my belly has affected my life and health. At this present moment, I have been diagnosed with PAH and I look like I'am 7 months pregnant. I have more fat and flab in my stomach before the cool sculpting. I'am embarrassed, sex life is disturbing, and has put my marriage in jeopardy. I need help! Zeltiq has offered to help correct the problem, but they are giving me the run around. I would not wish this on anyone!

I have had 3 sessions of coolsculpting beginning February 2016 through September 2016. Areas treated were upper arms, abdomen, submental, and outer thighs. I am overweight, but was told I was a good candidate. I spent $8000.00, and have seen zero results. I am wondering what if any recourse I have.

I had coolscuplting done 3 months ago with no shown results if anything I look bigger on all 5 areas. I am from NC and wanted to know if anyone has found a lawyer that could help us retrieve our monies and for the pain we went thru for 2 weeks. Also my lower abdomen is still numb. Then the PA advised us to do a blood test to treat hormonal issues but if we didn't want to take the pellet she was injecting she couldn't help me. What a rip off.

I am trying to find a lawyer to defend all of us who received CoolSculpting and ended up with PHA (paradoxical adipose hyperplasia). My love handles turned into what looked like huge masses of fat, almost the size of 2 breasts on my back. I also had a similar reaction on my abdomen. The only way to fix this was with liposuction which isn't a total fix. I ended up with scarring on my back and it's still not totally gone. I was never informed of this possible side effect and when reading online after the fact zeltiq mentions it being 1 + 20000 which is definitely not the case when reported by physicians who do CoolSculpting so they are misleading all of us who are getting it done. Had I known the risks I would have made a much more informed decision. My plastic surgeon told me it's closer to 1 in 5000 that this happens to as far as he has seen in his practice. They need to be held accountable and I don't know how else to do it other than report it to the FDA. A lawsuit seems to be the only other way but don't know how to go about doing it.

I had coolsculpting done here in Chicago a few weeks ago. I had excruciating pain and did not see the results that they guaranteed. I am really upset about this and would like to join the class-action lawsuit in order to recoup the money that I invested and prevent others to fall prey to their false claims.

I had the worst experience. The cool sculpting I paid for, did the exact opposite of what I paid for. The areas that were treated became worse instead of better. The only solution is lipo and the clinic will not give me my money back. I'm devastated!

3 months ago I had cool sculpting to reduce a small amount of fat on my lower abdomen. I'm a personal trainer, but at 50 years old and after 2 kids, I was unable to reduce this area with exercise and diet alone. Now, I wish I had just left it alone. I have an indentation that is growing bigger by the day directly above my belly button, and the area below it is bigger than it was before Cool Sculpt. Several people, including clients, have asked what happened and why there is such a large dent in my abdomen. I was warned that I might not lose a lot of fat since I didn't have much to begin with, but I was never told I could end deformed.

I had cool sculpting done in March of 2015. The affected areas grew larger by Christmas. After a second consultation, the Coolsculpting tech suggested another round to my abdomen because sometimes it takes more than one treatment to get the desired results. She also suggested treating my flanks as well. That was completed in January of 2016. No great change on my abdomen and NO change on my flanks. The Coolsculpting tech retreated my flanks again in March at which time I noticed a drastic change on my abdomen. It grew and grew and grew as did my flanks. The fat was fibrous and firm, very different than the original fat. I shared my concerns with the CoolSculpting tech at the office and she said that she would consult the doctor and that she had never seen anything like this. She also said that she would also talk to her Zeltiq representative. On July 1, 2016 I finally saw the doctor and the owner of the office. This was the FIRST time that I saw him. He said that I had PAH, which was really rare...(seemingly not so much) and that he would call me the week of July 11 to discuss our options. He never called. I had to call his office and was never able to speak to him. His office manager, Leslie, said that the doctor and owner would not offer any refunds of the $3550.00 I spent but he would give me a "discount" on LIPO which is the only treatment that is used to treat PAH. His bedside manner and his lack of concern for his patients did not make me feel safe and secure with him doing an invasive procedure.

I did have Safe Lipo done with another doctor, one that actually took the time to discuss the issues with me. I am less than two weeks out from that procedure but that treatment cost me $7470.00. I am looking to recoup my money. Please help. I went in for Coolsculpting with a minor belly and ended up spending over $10,000 to correct a huge problem caused by Zeltiq and Coolscuplting. Thank you.

Also, I was never informed verbally about the possibility of PAH. They say it was in the document I signed but it was NEVER mentioned. The only thing that was said was that it might not work.

Had cool sculpture almost 4 months ago. I am not overweight just have a bit of fat I can't get rid of even though I exercise and eat healthy. There is no change. If anything my stomach seems larger and flabbier. My sides as well. I was offered a discount for a second treatment. If is a rip off. I will be contacting the company to express my concerns as well as the place I went for the treatment.

I had cool scupting treatments done nearly 9 months ago, 2 months ago I was diagnosed with Paradoxical Adipose Hyperplasia. Approximatley 6 weeks ago I had liposuction on the mutated fat areas, the doctor said he couldnt remove much effected fat safely..the lipo treatment does not appear to have made any difference, actually, I beleve the effected fat areas is still growing...I'm a couple sizes large than before the cool sculpting and cant find a solution to this horrible situation. The Zeltiq company has offered to pay for the initial treatments and all corrective treatments... What are your thoughts...?

I had several expensive cool sculpting treatments between July 2015 - November 2015, including ultherapy and both results are zero. The fat in several treated areas are bulged out bigger than normal and appear permanent. As for Ultherapy, the forehead/eyes area are not lifted to smooth out like they advertised. They remain the same as before treatments. I contacted and share my concerns to the staff at Spa. They asked that I come in for them to look over me and take pictures. The staff or intern, that took pictures of my treatment areas, agreed with my complains. Their female supervisor or owner refused to refund, after reviewed the photos, sent them to me and said they were beautiful. She offered steep discounts for me to return. I could not believe it. Of course, I refused, did not want to take a chance for fear of further damages, yet I am depress with the way they look and I wear bigger clothing to cover them, because I am embarrass. The Cool sculpting and Ultherapy advertised in the Spa are very misleading and expensive. Please. What can we do about it? Please help. Thank you.

I had Cool Sculpting done on me first in April of last year. Nothing happened except it appeared as though I developed more pockets of fat on my stomach. So, the med spa recommended that I do the treatments again. Yet again, my waistline grew. I have never been more than a size 8 except while carrying my children. One year after starting the procedures, I am now in a size 11 and my stomach looks horrible. The technician had the nerve to ask me what was wrong with me?! I went to the doctor and had a complete check up. you know what was wrong with me? Nothing! Nothing with the exception of falling for this fraudulent scheme and losing nothing but $6,000. If anyone knows a good attorney, I want his/her number!

The only reduction I saw was in my bank account. I paid a lot of money for very little, if any, results. I had a "before" picture taken, but suspiciously, no one attempted to take an "after" picture. Doctor commented that the change was "noticeable". I eat well, and exercise regularly, but I have not been happy with the results at all. I feel like I was misdiagnosed as someone who would benefit from the procedure when in fact, very little change happened.

Hello I am completely shocked to read all these. I had coolsculpting done on my upper stomach. I was left with 2 dents and saggy skin. I look 10 times worse than before I walked in. They said they have never seen this before and were working with corporate to fix this. They performed 1 more procedure and had made no difference... Can anyone help me??

I got cool sculpting on the saddlebag area of my outer leg. I am now PERMANENTLY disfigured with a LARGE and very noticeable "dent" in my thigh. I went from being self conscious about the area to horrified. When I talked showed it to the spa, they contacted the vendor who stated not to touch it/fix it, but to try something else. Currently had two Ultherapy sessions (on them) with no changes. I don't know what to do, but this treatment made things 100% worse!!

I recieved coolsculpting on my lower and upper abdomen and my bra-roll area last February. A month later, all three areas started GROWING in size until all three areas looked deformed. When the original office examined me they said I had Paradoxical Hyperplasia and said the only treatment was lipo. They recommended a surgeon who performed lipo on all three areas. However, the hyperplasia is still there and creates rolls of fibrous tissue where there used to be regular looking skin.

I have had the procedure on 4 areas without problems or issues. I am seeing results. While not entirely comfortable the procedure was not particularly painful either. (I actually fell asleep during one treatment.)The company provides ample information about the procedure and what to expect.. Or not to expect. Proper client selection is key. The procedure is cosmetic and helps remove portions of unsightly fat on very specific areas of the body. It is not to be used on obese individuals for weight loss. Claims above are extreme and NOT representative of the general population who have had this procedure. I researched this company for two years before undergoing treatment myself. Sites like these often exist to artificially create negative publicity (and potential client trolling) for bogus tort lawsuits. If you are reading the comments on this page.. I strongly suggest you do more research.

I got the procedure done on my lower abdomen and upper abdomen just 6 days ago. The pain is excruciating and I'm sure that downtime from lipo cannot be as bad as this! At least a plastic surgeon would have the decency to prescribe pain medication. I feel as if there is a lot of false advertising about this procedure out there. Zeltiq causes more than a "little discomfort"; it causes searing, biting, stinging, constant pain! Someone help!

I had coolsculpting done on my abdomen and back fat (bra area) in June 2015 with no success and alot of pain. After 3 months and no results I asked what could be done. They told me to try lipo! I was shocked! They said at that time that it doesn't work for everyone but that's NOT what was told to me at the session I went to. The spokesperson said it works for everyone. I just want a refund. Even if they offered me free coolsculpting (which they didn't)I would NEVER NEVER go through that pain again! Please help.

I had coolsculpting done in April 2014 on a small area of fat on my back, otherwise known as a bra bulge. I was instructed that the site would be tender and painful for 2-4 months. After the period had passed, my husband and I noticed the area had not shrunk and had grown! It was extremely painful and difficult to wear a bra properly. The facility that performed the coolscuplting wanted to document and photograph the area for a year. I complied hoping for a resolution to repair the damage that had been done, yet I still have the embarrassing lumps on my back that have gotten progressively worse. They recommended I get consultations for lipo or removal of the area, yet the makers of coolsculpting did not to offer cover any cost of repairing my condition let alone reimburse me for the pain, embarrassment and costs associated with loose fitting clothing and a completely different bra size and style. What can I do?

Hello,
I had cool sculpting done this past spring. Not onlydid it not work, I have been sick ever since doing the procedure. The pain was excruciating. It lasted for over a month. Today, just in the area where I had cool sculpting, I have developed lumps under my skin. Currently, we are scheduling a biopsy.
have you heard anything like this or have any other stories such as mine?
Thank you for your time

I received multiple coolsculpting treatments and have had no results. I have contacted the clinic on many occasions both in email and phone calls. They refuse to refund $3320.00. My mother and sister both received treatments and also had zero results. How can you help me?
Thank you,
Rachael Lovetro

People are getting mis lead about the 20% reduction in fat from cool sculpting, its really expensive for vary little results.
Also a large applicator counts as 2 applications and doubble the cost.
