Rize 2 The Occasion and Rose 4 Her Dietary Supplements Recalled

Pompano Beach, FLJack Distribution, LLC, and its wholesale distributors G & N works, Inc., and Devine Distribution, Inc., have announced a voluntary nationwide recall of the company's Rize 2 The Occasion and Rose 4 Her. The recall, which was announced on July 28, 2008, involves all lot numbers of the supplement products.

SupplementThe recall was announced after the FDA informed Jack Distribution of an undeclared ingredient in Rize 2 The Occasion and Rose 4 Her. The ingredient in question is thiomethisosildenafil, an active ingredient in a drug used for Erectile Dysfunction. According to the FDA, the chemical can interact with nitrates found in some prescription drugs and may lower patients' blood pressure to dangerously low levels.

The Rize 2 The Occasion supplement is sold either in a single blister pack, three count bottles, 12 count bottles or 30 count bottles. Rose 4 Her is sold in single blister packs and three count bottles. Both supplements are sold in adult stores, vitamin & nutrition shops and convenience stores as well as through the internet. Patients who have these products are advised not to continue taking them.
