Two putative class action lawsuits were filed against the food chain alleging violations of California's wage and hour laws. The lawsuits claim unpaid overtime as well as violations related to meals and rest periods. The complaints seek to represent all restaurant general managers who have worked at restaurants owned by Yum! Brands from August 2002 to the present. Both cases have been consolidated in San Diego County Superior Court.
