I truly feel it's about time for us transgendered girls!! I am all for equal rights for all, and it always seems to be ok for real females to dress in any clothes that they want and for girls to play on boys sports teams and even be in the boy scouts these days. However, boys or T-Girls aren't allowed the same rights, not even close, we just get mocked. It does appear that I can shop at many stores now, either completely dressed as a girl or just partially dressed in like jeans pantyhose and heels with minimal makeup, more of the androgenous mode which I truly love too. Keep up the good work "girls"

Hi Tanya T, You go girl. Can’t say I know what it’s like to actually walk in your shoes (err, wait a minute–I can actually; and let me say that Manolo’s are not always all they’re cracked up to be after 5 hours on 3″ heels)–but I can imagine that not fitting into societal “norms” while trying to be true to yourself must be very difficult at times. Glad you’ve also found a happy medium in androgeny.

As an out and about T girl,I go everywhere in girl mode, including air travel. This is 2010 and the target customer group for AEO accepts us,why shouldn't the company itself? We take a lot more pride in our look than many others do in today's world.American Apparel stores have embraced the unisex idea and operate in an accepting way. We are here to stay!

Nothing wrong with the old transvestite look. I don't believe the AEO would take part in such discrimination anyway – i have a few relatives very close to the organisation. They're terrific people.

Lets face it, the old rule was by far stupid. Me as a tranny lover, would love to see more acceptence all over the world for both transgendered people and crossdressers/transvestites. Most my friends are either transgendered or transvestite. or guys really into them. We all agreed on one thing, that rule was discrimination to the max and shouldnt be allowed at all. period.
