Three-Year Old Dies in Missouri Car Accident

div itemprop="articleBody" class="article">Troy, MOA three-year old girl has died in a tragic car accident near Troy. The single car accident involved a 1999 Chevrolet Blazer, driven by the girl's mother, 29-year old Alicia Moreno-Rubio. According to media reports, the Blazer overturned in a curve and flipped, landing in a creek. The little girl has been identified as Alexandria Gutierrez.

Two men who were nearby the accident when it happened jumped into the water to try and save the little girl, but they were unable to open the doors or windows on the sport utility vehicle, which was, by this time, underwater. The mother was taken to hospital for treatment of her injuries.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported that the accident happened just before noon on Friday, May 21, in Lincoln County.
