Amish Buggy Involved in Missouri Car Accident

div itemprop="articleBody" class="article">Springfield, MOTwo men are reported injured following a bizarre Missouri car accident involving two cars and one buggy. The accident happened late in the evening of Thursday, May 12.

According to news reports, Mr. Samuel Zook of Seymour, MO, and a member of the Amish community, was driving his buggy down MO 60 in Diggins, when he encountered a car parked on the shoulder of the road. While trying to manoeuvre his cart around the parked vehicle, he was hit by a 2004 Ford.

According to the Missouri Highway Patrol, the driver of the Ford vehicle was thirty-five year old Wesley Brown, of Ozark. Brown was taken to Cox South Hospital in Springfield having sustained moderate injuries from the car accident.

Mr. Samuel Zook also sustained minor injuries, but refused medical treatment, according to the state troopers.
