The bus was carrying 58 passengers bound for New York on a commercial tour, when it overturned early Tuesday morning. The injured passengers were taken to 11 hospitals in Richmond and Fredericksburg.

Virginia State police, who were called to the scene of the accident at 4:55 am Tuesday, said the Sky Express Inc bus was resting on its roof about a quarter mile south of Carmel Church exit.
