The Vrdolyak Law Group Uncovers New Evidence, Recovers $775,000 for At-fault Elderly Driver

. By
Chicago, IL (Press Release)The Vrdolyak Law Group recovered $775,000 for an elderly woman whose 90-year-old husband was killed in a motor vehicle accident on March 14, 2008, notwithstanding the fact that police claimed she had caused the accident.

The elderly woman was making a left-hand turn when her vehicle was struck on the passenger side by an oncoming vehicle. The impact caused severe and permanent injuries to her husband who was sitting in the passenger seat, and led to his death later that day.

Police determined that the accident was entirely the elderly woman’s fault, despite her claim that the other vehicle was traveling at a high rate of speed, and issued her a traffic ticket for failure to yield to oncoming traffic. As a result, the insurance company for the oncoming driver also blamed the elderly woman for the accident and denied her claim for compensation.

Distraught, the elderly woman contacted Attorney Peter Vrdolyak of The Vrdolyak Law Group. Vrdolyak took the elderly woman’s claim seriously and was able to prove that the other driver had been traveling at a high rate of speed and without keeping a proper lookout.

After nearly 3 years of investigation and litigation, Vrdolyak successfully proved that the other party was responsible for the accident. As a result, the Vrdolyak Law Group recovered $775,000 for the elderly widow.

“Our clients face stressful and devastating situations everyday, leaving many feeling hopeless and scared. We as a law group, investigate to the fullest extent to ensure justice and restore hope, ” said Attorney Peter Vrdolyak, Partner.

I have been denied the use of the community room, located inside the hud subsidized building in which i reside. It has been a common practice by the property manager to approve residents in the building to hold bazaars or spring cleaning events in order to clear our apts of accumulating items. I requested the use of our community room which was approve, but after I began to invite other residents and friends to my family spring cleaning event, Management called me into their office and told me it was canceled. i believe that management is retaliating against me because I have submitted complaints about the property manager and the conditions of the building.
