Sacramento, CA In a “flip-the-script” move, the California Chamber of Commerce filed a California labor lawsuit to block the implementation of the "California Worker Freedom from Employer Intimidation Act" (SB 399). The law, which went into effect on January 1, 2025, places restrictions on employer-sponsored meetings that concern religious or political matters, including unionization.
