South Florida Business Journal (SFBJ) reported on November 25 that Timothy J. Huff, the former CEO of GlobeTel Communications Corp., pleaded not guilty in connection with a 16-count indictment for conspiracy to commit securities fraud.

Strong Association Found Between Chinese Drywall and Respiratory Problems

A federal investigation into
Chinese drywall has revealed a strong association between the respiratory problems reported by homeowners and the defective drywall. The respiratory problems are believed to be brought on by a combination of formaldehyde, which is common in newly built homes, and hydrogen sulfide off-gasing from the drywall.
