Commerce Bank Reaches $18.3 Million Settlement in Overdraft Fees Class Action

New York, NY: An $18.3 million settlement has been reached in a class action lawsuit against Commerce Bank . The lawsuit alleged that the bank improperly charged overdraft fees on certain debit card transactions.

The settlement is pending court approval, but if it is approved Commerce will pay $18.3 million to refund class members, pay attorney fees and cover additional costs.
