Construction worker Awarded $2.9M in Personal Injury Suit

Philadelphia, PA: A $2.9 million settlement was recently awarded to a construction superintendent who filed a personal injury against a roofing installer following a workplace accident.

Walter Schwartz alleged that he fell through a partially completed rubber roof into a drain underneath while working on a building on Stenton Avenue in Philadelphia. The jury found the roofing company, Garvey Roark, 98-percent liable for negligence.
