Lexmark to Pay $8.3M in Employee Vacation Class Action

Los Angeles, CA: Lexmark has been ordered to pay $8.3 million in compensation to its employees in California as settlement of the class action lawsuit they brought over the company's "use it or loose it" vacation policy The employees originally challenged the company saying they should not lose compensation for the time that they did not use.

Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Gregory Alarcon ruled that the 178 employees in the class-action suit should be compensated for the vacation time and personal time they did not use before they were terminated.
