Plane Crash Victim's Family Awarded $7 Million

This is a settlement for the Plane Crashes lawsuit.

Lexington, KY: The family of a man killed in the 2006 Comair plane crash in Kentucky has been awarded $7 million. The crash occurred when Flight 5191 attempted to take off from a runway that was too short for commercial jets. Forty-nine people died in the plane crash.

An investigation by the National Transportation Safety Board found that the pilots did not notice clues that they were on the wrong runway.

I have a great fear of flying now and have had many bad dreams about crashing as a result of the incident.
