Student Loan Xpress Settles Class Action with Students

Student Loan Xpress has agreed to forgive $100 million in loans to students who were enrolled in the Silver State Helicopter flight school when it abruptly closed its doors and filed for bankruptcy.

The school had 33 locations around the country, with about 2,500 students enrolled when it went out of business.

Student Loan Xpress was the preferred lender for Las Vegas based flight school from 2005 until the bankruptcy.
