Ticketmaster Entertainment Settles with New Jersey Attorney General

New Jersey Attorney General (AG) Anne Milgram has settled with Ticketmaster Entertainment over allegations that Ticketmaster was redirecting people trying to buy Springsteen tickets to TicketsNow.com, an affiliated, premium-priced ticket brokerage.

The terms of the settlement bans Ticketmaster from reselling tickets to TicketsNow.com for any events the company handles for a minimum of 1 year. After a year any links between Ticketmaster's "No Tickets Found" web page to its TicketsNow re-sale website will require prior approval from the AG's office.

Additionally, Ticketmaster is forbidden to use paid internet search advertising to lead consumers who may be searching for Ticketmaster to any of its subsidiary sites.
