$7.8 Million Settlement Awarded to Cancer Patients

National Foundation Life Insurance and Dixie National Life Insurance have been ordered to pay a settlement of $7.8 million to 182 people denied payment related to their cancer treatment.

The plaintiffs primarily are former South Carolina state employees whose coverage was changed by the insurers after 2001.
