Cendant Settles Class Action For $25 Million

Cendant Corp. will pay $25 million to settle a class action fraud lawsuit in Madison County Court.

Class members claimed Trilegiant, a Cendant subsidiary, made unauthorized charges to their credit cards for products such as Privacy Guard, Credit Alert, Auto Vantage, Travelers Advantage and Buyers Advantage.
