Winfield, WV: (May-07-08) Three medical malpractice lawsuits were brought against Dr. John King, over is practice at Putnam General hospital. Legal sources stated that the former surgeon faces close to 124 lawsuits, with claims that he botched surgeries or otherwise harmed patients during the six months he worked at Putnam General hospital.

In a recent development in the case, sources stated that three medical malpractice lawsuits have reached settlement, with King paying nearly $2.5 million to resolve allegations.
