Killer Heir

Miami, FL: (Mar-02-08) The estate of Rosemarie Keller brought charges against Fred Keller, who amassed a commercial real estate fortune. Fred was serving sentence in prison for murdering his ex-wife Rosemarie and shooting her brother, Wolfgang Keil. Records show that in November 2003, Fred shot his wife Rosemarie, 34, less than two weeks after a judge had awarded her half of Fred Keller's assets in a divorce settlment. Apart from the wrongful death claim against Fred Keller, Keil also filed a personal injury claim after suffering severe injuries when the Palm Beach killer shot at him.

In a recent development in the case, sources claimed that a jury returned a staggering $30 million verdict for the 13-year-old heir to the Keller fortune, Fredchen Keller. Apart from this settlement, Wolfgang Keil would receive $5.5 million and the slain Rosemarie Keller's four siblings and mother would split $4.8 million. Lawyers also announced a global settlement that would compensate those who have been forever aggrieved by Fred Keller. Keil, who still suffers pain from being shot, said he is not pleased despite the fact he gains more than $2 million over his jury award if the settlement is approved. Records state that Fred Keller died in 2007 at the age of 73 while serving a life sentence in prison. [SUN SENTINEL: KILLER HEIR]
