My Ford Expedition caught fire when I was taking my grandchildren home. I managed to get it out then had my truck towed home. Then I had a mechanic come look at it and he told me that my fuel rail was cracked and that it should not have cracked because your fuel rail is a life time part. Then I contacted Ford... they had me take my truck to Carmen Ford service department so that it could be checked out and after they did that they called me and said that a spark plug ejected and hit the fuel rail and that's how it got cracked but at the same time this service guy say that this has been happening and this is a defect. But when I contacted Ford back they told me that they will not fix my truck because it's not part of a recall, so I went online and there are about 7 million trucks that this has happen to. I just want my truck fixed.
