New York - New York Attorney General Eliot Spitzer filed charges against the financial services company for allegedly accepting payments from companies to promote their funds in retirement plans. ING agreed to pay $30 million to a New York state teachers' union that invested with ING plans. ING is also required to provide plain English disclosures about all fees charged to investors and provide information about payments it receives for including companies' funds in its other retirement plans.
