Syncon Homes

A class action lawsuit was filed on behalf of a group of North Douglas County residents regarding drainage and other construction problems. Class members claimed their homes had water draining issues that lead to unwanted back yard ponds, deteriorating garage stem walls, crawlspace flooding and moldy walls. Syncon has agreed to pay $2 million, while 20 subcontractors will provide $5 million to be distributed between the 181 homeowners involved in the suit. (Jun-02-06) [RECORD COURIER]
