Saginaw County Jail Class Action Denied

Twenty two former detainees tried to file a class action lawsuit regarding naked detention practices at the jail from 1996 through 2001. Saginaw admitted to these practices, but claimed they were a suicide prevention measure. A federal judge has denied the motion to certify the class action because the affected class was too broad and the number of plaintiffs was too small. (Dec-13-05) [M LIVE]
