A $65 million settlement has been reached and is pending approval in the class action lawsuit filed on behalf of consumers who alleged they paid inflated prices for Paxil, a popular anti-depressant drug. The suit alleged that the company filed a series of "sham" patent lawsuits in a campaign to delay any generic version of Paxil from reaching the market. (Feb-03-05)
