Three Dead in Cruise Ship Accident

Three Dead in Cruise Ship Accident January 14, 2012. By Heidi Turner.
At least three people are dead and as many as 70 more are unaccounted for following a cruise ship accident in Italy. It is not known what caused the cruise ship crash on Saturday, although officials have said that the cruise ship suffered a 160-foot gash along the hull. Among those who died in the boating accident were two French passengers and a Peruvian crewman.

Allentown, PA: Two adults and a four-month old child were killed in a natural gas explosion late Wednesday night in eastern Pennsylvania. Two row homes were demolished by the explosion while another six were set on fire – destroying an entire row of houses.

Calhoun County, MS: At least three people have been killed and 10 injured in a school bus accident in Mississippi Tuesday afternoon. The bus, from Choctaw County, was struck by an 18-wheel tractor trailer at the intersection of Highway 8 and Highway 9 in Calhoun County at approximately 2:30 p.m. local time, Jon Kalahar, a spokesman for the Mississippi Department of Public Safety said.
